Sweet Journey is very food motivated and would be a breeze to train. Her favorite treats are bones and pig's ears, but really she would be happy with most anything you give her. She loves to spend her time with her human and will follow you around everywhere. Journey i s a bit timid and shy, but she's getting better and more confident with more exposure and experience. She is very sweet, doesn’t nip much at all for a puppy, loves her food and treats and absolutely l oves to cuddle with you. Journey is very intelligent , loves running around and being outdoors , is doing well with crate training and loves other dogs. Since being with her foster, Journey has not had a single accident and is completely potty trained as well!

Journey's current foster believes that a quieter home would be good for her. She also believes Journey would benefit from the companionship and guidance another confident dog would provide for her. Her foster says that if you are looking for a velcro dog that loves you and follows you around, Journey is just the dog for you. She loves and adores her human and would prefer a lot of attention and affection from them. An adopter or family that is somewhat active would be a good fit as she has a medium energy level and loves the outdoors. Journey would be a great addition to any family and will love you and adore you for life.

*As a purely foster based rescue, we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org to be considered for adoption.  Also, please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy all volunteer staff. Journey's Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transportation costs from Louisiana to Seattle, shots/vaccines, vetting/medical treatment (including spay/neuter) and micro-chipping.
