As with all young puppies, Poppy should not be left alone for more than 2-3 hrs at a time and is working hard on her potty training.  Part of our adoption contract is a promise to attend a puppy training class to ensure she has a great start learning the rules of life as a family member.  Are you ready to commit to training?  Do you have a hefty dose of patience?  Are you ready for puppy breath, cuddles, laughter and more?  Then perhaps Poppy is the girl for you :)  Please do your research on the Catahoula breed before applying.  They are an intelligent and active breed and require a committed owner.  Also, remember that any time you invest into your pup will be returned ten fold!  Poppy truly is a special girl and we want to find the perfect home for her.  As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from pre-approved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes transport from Louisiana to Seattle, vetting/assessment (including spay/neuter at one of our approved vets), all shots (at our vets) and micro-chipping.
