Jackpot is a 1 yr old neutered male who weighs in at 10lbs. We can't figure out why Jackpot was found as a stray. He is all yorkie and a really nice little guy. House trained, but has been marking (there are 4 boys at his foster and each is trying to be top dog but he did not do this at the person's house that found him).  He is shy when first meeting a new person, but warms up quickly. Then he wants to warm your lap and be by your side for a big cuddle. He is great with older considerate kids...currently he sleeps with the 9 yr old at his foster home.  Jackpot has fallen in love with her and watches her every move so he can be by her side. He is not a yippy small dog.  So far no one has heard him make any sound. Jackpot does well with other dogs and ignores the foster house cats. He's quickly mad friends with the other small dogs in his foster house.

So far Jackpot hasn't played with many toys but he's still getting comfortable at his foster home.  He likes exploring the fenced in backyard with his dog or human buddies. Very sweet, little cuddler. Great company for someone that wants a lap dog. Does not require much exercise. Would like him to have a family with someone who works from home or could take to work with them. He wants a person that will stay with him or has a buddy to keep him company.  Very lovable.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $ which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
