Cody is a sweet mellow boy who is crate and potty trained. He does well when left in his crate, and is great with other dogs even puppies and very gentle.  Good with kids of all ages. Haven't seen him around cats so we aren't sure how he would react to them. He usually only whines or barks if he has to go out to go potty. He loves to play with other dogs is great with kids and though he can be mouthy he is VERY gentle. He does like to jump up and cover you in kisses whenever he can and loves to cuddle. 

Whilst Cody's breed mix is a bit of a guesstimate we think maybe Brittany spaniel and lab, though he is fully grown at around 40lbs. 

Cody does pretty well on a leash but will definitely benefit from a training class- which is a requirement of adoption please, we want to see you bond well with your new family member and this is an easy way to do so. He is a fun loving young man who is very endearing and will steal your heart the minute he crawls into your lap for a cuddle.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
