Gator is a big loveable lug- but don't let his size fool you he's an active young 4-5yr old guy who wants the most out of life. He does not bark much at all but can be vocal when he does not get his way and will whine to protest having been in his crate too long. You can't help but love Gator because he has the cutest, funniest personality. He is like a big baby.

Gator is a big energetic but loveable guy. He is as sweet as he can be and loves to be petted and, if you let him, would be in your lap in a heartbeat. He is medium to high energy and loves to be outside as well as in. He would LOVE to go out hiking or checking out the local neighborhood on long walks, as well as playing in your yard. 

We would love Gator settled in with an active family and maybe another dog. He is doing really  well with the 8and 11yr old children in his foster home and  think children around this age or older would be best, just because of his size and his over excited greetings when he can jump up to say hello!

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
