Coffee is a petite package of goofy, playful, funny, loving beautiful and all around sweetness all wrapped up in one. She's great with all people including children. She doesn't jump up on people or try to knock you down. She's fine with other dogs. We can't say for sure how she is with cats but in er foster home the neighbors cat hissed and growled at her up close to the fence when Coffee was standing there playfully barking and it scared Coffee so she kept away from the fence and wanted nothing more to do with the cat. Coffee is crate trained and has never pottied in the house. She goes in her crate every night willingly with no issues and sleeps all night without any barking or crying to be let out until morning when she makes a tiny noise letting you know she's ready to go potty. Coffee will wait at the back door when she's let out until we tell her to go on ahead and go potty, it's almost like she's waiting for permission before going into the yard. When she is inside the house she's perfectly content resting next to a person on the couch. She loves to unpack the toy box in her foster home and has never attempted to be destructive. She does tend to get a little car sick in the car. She loads and unloads on command into a vehicle. She also listens exceptionally well when called to come inside the house. Will fit in anywhere!!!

Her favorite toys are a Kong Wubba and tennis balls. She loves  to roll around the grass on her back so a  yard would be a bonus- or lots of time spent outside with you in the summer! She came from Louisiana and is finding our Seattle weather chilly so will need a coat or sweater when she goes outside.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
