Irma is one of the 3 sisters of 9 catahoula puppies born on Sept 1st 2017 to a sweet mom who weighs around 40lbs. We have no idea what breed Dad was as mom was dumped at the shelter just days before going birth and luckily ended up in a foster home with our sister rescue in Louisiana. Irma is arriving in Seattle on Nov 3rd and is looking for her very own family. She's a fun loving puppy who currently loves to play hard with her brothers! She is always moving and wiggles her whole body when she is happy! She has s short stubby tail and is super cute! She would be a great puppy for an active family who will introduce her to all the northwest has to offer.

As with all young puppies Irma cannot be left alone more than 2-3hrs and is still working on her potty training. Part of our adoption contract is a promise to attend a puppy training class to ensure she has a great start learning the rules of life as a family member.  Are you ready to commit to training? Have a hefty dose of patience and love to hand out? Are you ready for puppy breath, cuddles, laughter and more? Then perhaps Irma is the girl for you :)

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
