Ike is the smallest boy but his personality is huge. He hops around like a rabbit. He loves to follow u around and play... but he is really gentle and a sweetheart. He loves to snuggle.

As with all young puppies Ike cannot be left alone more than 2-3hrs and is still working on his potty training. Part of our adoption contract is a promise to attend a puppy training class to ensure he has a great start learning the rules of life as a family member.  Are you ready to commit to training? Have a hefty dose of patience and love to hand out? Are you ready for puppy breath, cuddles, laughter and more? Then perhaps Ike is the boy for you :) 

Please do your research on Catahoulas before applying, they are loyal, very intelligent amazing dogs who require a strong minded owner who will ensure they learn their place in the pack. The time you put into your dog will be returned ten fold! Read on for instructions on how to apply:

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
