Petit Jean is a very sweet girl who loves people and other dogs. She likes toys but she prefers to sit with you for loving. As she hasn't been around cats we currently do not know how she would respond to them. She is on the smaller side at approximately 40lbs and is a pretty brindle mix. Catahoula's are intelligent dogs who love to learn so Petit Jean is looking for a family who will continue her training, take her out hiking and generally just treat her as part of their family. As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
