Meet Sis, isn't she gorgeous? And she's not just a pretty face, she is a very loving, cuddle bug who is looking for a loving family who will give her the attention she deserves. Her foster Mom said she almost renamed her Diva as she is super intelligent but does like to choose whether or not to listen. She enjoys having her own pillow ;)

Sis is GREAT in her kennel and has been trained to use a doggie door to take care of her potty needs. A little retraining would be in order if you don't have one but she is smart and food motivated so this won't be a difficult task. 

Sis doesn't like sudden loud noises, but vacuum cleaners, lawnmowers or weed eaters don't bother her.  We think at some point she must have been hit because if you accidentally raise a hand near her face she will duck and cower.

Sis's foster family have two children aged 4 and 5 and she did wonderfully with them. She has met babies and was very curious about them and with walking kids has had no issues.

Though she has some basic training down Aarf requires adopters to sign up for puppy class to continue socialization and help you bond with your new family member. Sis will excel in class as she already knows sit, wait (not for her food as that's way too exciting! ) comes when she is called, off, out and is working on back up...........

Of course nobody is perfect and after all Sis is still a puppy, so you will need to keep all trash and paperwork away unless you want to employ her as your office shredder! As with all puppies she will need lots of chew toys as she is teething. And she is young so long days alone are not recommended yet. 4-5hrs maximum at her age please.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
