Sorrel is such a smart girl. Her high intelligence makes her very receptive to training. She has had issues with anxiety, but quickly overcame them all!! It is possible they may resurface during transition to a new home but as we know she overcame them quickly the first time we are sure with a little patience she is going to do just fine. 

She has a precious personality and is so very affectionate and loving, want wants badly to be with her humans. She loves children and babies and is very gentle and caring with them. She loves cats and they love her. 

She gets along great with dogs of all sizes and personalities and has no aggressive tendencies. During her transition to a new place she may need some direction on sharing her toys but as previously mentioned she is a smart cookie who takes well to training and direction. 

She does very well in a crate even for extended times but would like something to chew on to give her something to occupy her time alone. She prefers to be with other dogs when not with her humans. She is leash trained, and would love an active family who enjoys quiet snuggle time as well. Sorrel is wonderful and is going to make someone very very happy!

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
