Australian Shepherd / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Medium Learn more about the Australian Shepherd.
Sis is a beautiful and sweet girl that needs to find a new home through no fault of her own. Sis loves other dogs and kids and gets along with cats. She is good on a leash and knows basic commands but does suffer from "selective hearing" if she catches a scent of something more fun to do, she would benefit with some additional training. She is a bit overweight at 45lbs due to lack of exercise and too many treats. Sis loves to cuddle, be petted and be in the mix of any activity. Sis is an active girl and will need daily exercise. As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters. Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can. It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $250 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
