Buzz is the sweetest boy and he arrived in Seattle on Sunday August 6th.  He loves hugs and he will lean all his weight on your chest if you open your arms and ask for a 'hug'. He is very easy going and lets the kids use him like a pillow when laying on the floor. He loves to sit on the couch next to you, on you, on the floor below you, and anywhere else you can still reach to pet him. He is fine with being outside but loves coming back inside. He also loves his treats!! 

Buzz had to have one eye removed due to an infection and since them likes to sit with his good eye facing out so make sure you take that into account when you call him to sit with you. He is super easy going so baths are simple, he will stand and lets you scrub and wash him with no problems. And he loves to be towel dried. 

Buzz loves playing but his favorite thing to play with is the cat. (She doesn't mind too much) he will sneak up next to her and let her run then slowly go to her other side and do the same thing over and over. The cat tires out before him. In bed he likes to lay at the foot of the bed only because he like to sprawl out. But every few nights he manages to make his way up the side of the bed and I wake with his head on the pillow on top of mine. He is a very good boy and listens most of the time. He doesn't like to be alone and does enjoy having a doggie companion.  

Through no fault of his own Buzz is needing a new home because his military family was re stationed to Germany and couldn't take him with :(   If you think you have a great home to offer Buzz please read on for how to apply! As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350  which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
