Are you ready to add a puppy to your pack? Do you have the time to commit to training and loving on a pup? If so then perhaps this is the pup for you!

Mucky is a super sweet puppy who is submissive to his puppy pack and other dogs.  He likes to go on adventures and loves exploring with his friends.  If another dog growls at him...even if the dog is smaller...he rolls over to show his belly.  

When he is done playing Mucky loves to cuddle with his people, is crate trained and sleeps in his kennel all night without accidents. He is still pretty young so is working on his puppy manners and potty training during the day.  Puppies should not be left alone more than 2-3hrs a day- if you work are you prepared to invest in puppy daycare for a few months to handle this need?? 

As with all our puppies completion of training classes is a requirement of adoption as we believe it helps create a good family bond! Catahoula's are a fantastic breed and Louisiana's state dog, please do your research before you apply to adopt and feel free to ask us questions!

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
