Are you looking to add a puppy to your pack? Do you have the time to commit to training and loving on a pup? Are you home most of the day and able to only leave your puppy alone for a maximum of 2-3hrs a day? If so then perhaps Miss Puddles is the pup for you!

Puddles (named for her love of playing in Puddles not creating them lol)  is the leader of her puppy pack.  Although she likes to boss her puppy pack around she is submissive towards other dogs.  She is very sweet, loves to play and is super friendly with all she meets.  Puddles sleeps through the night in her crate without an accident.  She is working very hard at house training but due to her age will need to get out frequently to help her learn potty training. Puddles would make anyone a fantastic addition to their family.  

When she is done playing Puddles loves to cuddle with her people. Due to only being allowed to be alone a few hours at a time, if you work are you prepared to invest in puppy daycare for a few months to handle this need, or do you have family close by who can help out?? 

As with all our puppies completion of training classes is a requirement of adoption as we believe it helps create a good family bond! Catahoula's are a fantastic breed and Louisiana's state dog, please do your research before you apply to adopt and feel free to ask us questions!

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
