Anise, aka Annie.... is a super cute terrier mix puppy, at least that's our best breed guess as we really don't know for sure! She's a little cautious in new situations, full of love, and playful once she feels comfortable. When her siblings start to explore, she'll follow but let's them test things out first. Loves to snuggle and men with beards. When she wants to sleep, she'll sleep anywhere and has been found her in some odd places.... the pantry, my daughters closet.... She chews like most teething puppies and loves fingers and toes, but give her something she's allowed to chew on and she's easily redirected. Does not have accidents in her kennel over night and will use a pee pad when I go to work and she's in her playpen.

 

Anise weighed in at a whopping 4lbs at last vet visit Feb 1st. We believe she is around 10 weeks old and she will sleep through the night in her crate no problem. She is a little afraid of the larger dogs in her foster home and who can blame her when they tower above her the way they do! Anise loved all the attention she gained from the kids at the school bus stop and is an expert at snuggling deep down inside your jacket to stay warm and dry. She is good with cats and other dogs, loves kids and adults and is a fun loving little girl who charms everyone she meets with her kisses and cute puppy good looks!

As with all puppies Aarf requires sign up for training class on adoption and proof of completion sent our way. Anise is a tiny young lady so won't be able to be left alone for long periods just yet. As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter at one of our approved vets in the area) and microchipping.
