Wasabi is a little terrier (your guess is as good as ours on breed really!) mix with a big personality trapped in a tiny body, 4.5lbs at last vet visit Feb 1st. We believe him to be around 10 weeks old and he will sleep through the night in his crate no problem. He is super playful and loves to be exploring with his family and other dogs. He desperately wanted to play with the big dogs, or the cats, or the baby in his first foster home....pretty much whoever will participate. He is a puppy so will nibble on toes or socks and like all puppies will need redirection  to correct this behavior . He does great in the crate over night with no accidents. As playful as he is he still loves to snuggle and be loved on. He is quite vocal about demanding your attention and his cuddles and likes to be the center of attention. He is great with cats and other dogs and did well with the big chickens at his foster home because he is so small but his mom wouldn't trust him with them if he was bigger as he is so playful. He loves kids and adults and is a fun loving little guy who charms everyone he meets with kisses on your nose!

As with all puppies Aarf requires sign up for training class on adoption and proof of completion sent our way. Wasabi is a tiny young man so won't be able to be left alone for long periods just yet and may be too vocal for an apartment if you plan to leave him home alone. 

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter at one of our approved vets in the area) and microchipping.
