Roxie is a outdoor-loving, playful pup, who enjoys playing with other dogs. She will "stick to her guns", but is eager to learn and please. Like all puppies, Roxie enjoys chewing things, so plenty of puppy chew toys will need to be available. As a puppy, Roxie is still working on potty training and is about 99% there, she still needs reminders when playing but is doing really really well. She is young and shouldn't be left alone for more than 2-3 hours. She loves to play with toys, ride in the car on the way to the park, and is leash and crate trained. While Roxie has a bit of training, a training class is required to be completed post-adoption. While her breed is unknown, her long legs lead us to believe she will be a great running companion. Roxie will be an amazing family dog that will play, entertain, and cuddle with her adoptive family. Having a puppy takes time and patience; therefore, please make sure you are truly ready for the commitment.   As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
