Posey loves her ball!   Her ideal home would be an active family who enjoys outdoor activities and enjoys playing with their animals. She would love to have a ball thrown for her 24/7....otherwise she will carry it around to remind you that it's playtime. She is fully housebroken, can be left alone uncrated but really wants a buddy to spend her time with....person or dog or playful cat. She loves to ride on a boat, loves to stand in the front while the wind blows in her face! loves to run and play in the water and loves to fetch in the water....then ROOOOLLL in the sand. The sand falls off fairly quickly despite her long fur. When she plays hard....she sleeps hard. She's a wonderful dog! She prefers to sleep in someone's room in a soft dog bed on the floor. As soon as you wake up...she comes to tell you good morning. She is very affectionate, sits for treats. Loves her people... but loves her ball MORE :D

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
