Holly is a wonderful girl. Very very effectionate. She wants to sleep right next to you and lays her head on your chest. She get along with absolutely everyone. Became the favorite in her foster home in the very first day. Holly was found in the pound. Someone had shot her in the foot with a 22 magnum which broke the middle foot bone and crushed the other bones on one side of the foot. The very large bullet was sitting ON the crushed bones which cause constant pain. it was removed and she had to wear a splint for a month while her foot healed. Did this make her cranky? Did being shot make her fearful of others? Did cruelty shown to her by humans cause her to hold any grudges against anyone? not at all. She is the perfect lady, very gentle, playful and eager to please. Holly learned to sit for her treats With her leg in a splint. she's very smart! Holly would love a home with gentle, dog friendly children and/or dogs that are somewhat like her, playful but sweet! As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters. Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can. It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $ which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
