Gidget is a cutie pie! This petite lady was rescued from a high kill shelter in Louisiana and will be arriving in Seattle on January 15th. She likes her toys and chewy treats and loves to be close to her humans. She sleeps well in a bed as well as a crate and has shown no dislikes. She steals all the kitty toys and dog toys and puts them up on the couch so the smaller pup in her foster home can't get to them, clever girl! She also steals all the treats, lol.

 

She does dig in the yard if left alone in the yard and will find a way out to search for her humans but she doesn't run off. Wouldn't you? She happily cohabits with 5 cats and a little dog. Over the holiday season she enjoyed stealing the ornaments off the tree! Having never been taught she is still very much a puppy and will need the supervision and training expected.

 

She a quiet sweet little girl who just wants to be in your lap though she will play and loves other dogs. She is scared of younger boys/ male teenagers specifically and would therefore be best places in a home with out them.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
