Primrose is one of our Hunger Games puppies. These pups were named after their strong will to survive having come into rescue after being found thrown away into a steep culvert in rural Louisiana. Thankfully a lady was walking nearby with her 6 year old son and they heard the puppies crying. The only way they could reach to pull them out was for her to hold his ankles whilst he crawled down into the bushes to pull the pups to safety!!  Primrose is now a year old and due to her families situation she needs to be rehomed. 

Primrose is sweet and spicy and totally unafraid to take on bigger dogs in a wrestling match! She is super friendly, confident adventurous and brave but not a bully! After some play time she loves to snuggle and likes the comfort of her kennel where she will take all the toys!! Super cute little girl, great with people, kids, cats and other dogs. She knows general obedience but needs to work on recall.

She is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed.

As Primrose is a young dog who needs exercise, mental stimulation and direction. She smart, learns quickly and would make a great running /hiking/adventure dog.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $250 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
