Meet Cinna one of the Hunger Games puppies. These pups were named after their strong will to survive having come into rescue after being found thrown away into a steep culvert in rural Louisiana. Thankfully a lady was walking nearby with her 6 year old son and they heard the puppies crying. The only way they could reach to pull them out was for her to hold his ankles whilst he crawled down into the bushes to pull the pups to safety!! The puppies were in terrible shape and we were afraid they wouldn't survive the night, but they stepped up to the challenge and are now fit, healthy, happy puppies who are looking for loving homes to call their own.

Cinna is one of the bigger boys, he has lots of playful puppy energy and loves to romp and wrestle with his siblings.  He's a confident pup who likes to explore. Then he burns out and wants to snuggle into your neck and have his belly rubbed. Super cute boy great with people and other dogs. 

He is up to date on shots, microchipped and his neuter surgery needs to happen before he is 6 months old. The cost of surgery is included in his adoption fee so long as it is with one of our approved local vets. 

As Cinna is still a puppy he cannot be left alone for long periods of time, will need a safe puppy proofed environment and someone with lots of patience!  If that could be you, we do require a home and reference checks before adoption and with our puppies the adoption contract states that a training class is also mandatory. 

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
