Duchess is a beautiful goofy girl with lots of playful energy. We are fairly certain she is a GS/ Catahoula mix and still a puppy at approx 9 months old. She comes when she's called and minds well but will need to learn some in house manners as she loves to counter surf!  She's far too interested in chickens to do well with free range birds but is fine with those that are penned and protected. She is crate trained and is leash friendly. She's a confident girl who loves people, especially children! Young children need to be very dog savvy as she's a bouncy girl who doesn't realize how little they are. 

Duchess is used to being with her sister and would love to have a doggie companion to play with, or friends close by. She is your typical puppy who loves to chew and cause trouble when left unattended so please make sure you have the time and energy to commit to her training before you apply!

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org;  as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400  which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
