Croc is one of three brothers arriving in Seattle on Oct 22nd! They are the last of 11 puppies from their litter to come north to find their own homes as their 8 siblings came a couple of weeks ago and are all happily adopted in the Greater Seattle area. We rescued their mother from a rural shelter in Louisiana and she had her puppies 2 days later.   

We know Mom is a smaller hound weighing in around 40lbs but your guess is as good as ours when it comes to what breed Dad might have been. Croc's brother Tootles looks VERY hound whilst he and his brother Peter look to be lab mixes. Croc is a friendly pup and is gaining more confidence every day.  Super sweet, loves kids and being around people.  Still needs some potty and kennel training but well on his way to mastering both!

The puppies still need their third set of vaccinations soon after they arrive (AARF pays)  and will be spayed/neutered at our cost before they are 6 months old.

As Croc is still a puppy he cannot be left alone for long periods of time, will need a safe puppy proofed environment and someone with lots of patience!  If that could be you, we do require a home and reference checks before adoption and with our puppies the adoption contract states that a training class is also mandatory. 

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
