Rio  is a beautiful, unique mountain cur mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Louisiana. She is hoping to arrive in Seattle this Saturday 10/1 and would love to find a family of her own as soon as possible! 

She is eager to please, eager to love, and eager to learn. Romping and wrestling with her fur friends is one of her favorite activities. Her second favorite is definitely cuddling, in bed, on the couch, on the floor, anywhere she can be close to her human. She is great with kids and good with cats, a little curious but still learning her boundaries. Kenneled trained although needs a little encouragement to get in. She is by far as stunning inside as she is out.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org; as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
