Sweet Nibs is 12 weeks old and is one of 11 siblings:  we rescued his mother from a rural shelter in Louisiana and she had puppies 2 days later.  Nibs is a bit shy but is gaining more confidence every day.  Super sweet, loves kids and ignores cats.  Still needs some potty and kennel training but well on his way to mastering both!

The puppies still need thier third set of vaccinations (AARF pays)  and will be spayed/neutered at our cost before they are 6 months old.  They will need training and a requirement is attending a puppy class .  

Mom is a hound and from thier looks dad could have been a lab.   Mom is full grown at 40 lbs.

As Nibs is still a puppy he cannot be left alone for long periods of time, will need a safe puppy proofed environment and someone with lots of patience!  If that could be you, we do require a home and reference checks before adoption and with our puppies the adoption contract states that a training class is also mandatory. 

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  You are welcome to fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org; please fill this in as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $400 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
