Pippa is a mini catahoula mix who is the cutest thing ever! She is a happy sassy young lady and like most puppies her age is teething so needs to be provided with lots of puppy appropriate chew toys. She is very active and loves to run around outdoors. She is kennel trained and is working on walking on leash. She can be cautious around new people but warms up quickly and especially loves kids.

She isn't a fan of anyone walking behind her- and though she likes to play with other dogs will scream and yelp if she thinks she might be in danger. We think in time as she gains in confidence and size this will change.

Please think seriously about adding a puppy to your family, they cannot be left alone for more than 3-4hrs and need lots of time and patience as they perfect their potty training skills and learn what it means to be a great dog. We do require a puppy training class, home and reference checks from all adopters.

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters.  You are welcome to fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org; please fill this in as fully as you can.  It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process.  Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $ which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
