Violet is a charmer and has yet to meet someone who doesn't think she's adorable. Sadly she was surrendered to a high kill shelter in Louisiana along with her 8 very young puppies. Due to all the germs and lack of immunity or shots, 4 of her puppies didn't make it. But the four who did are healthy and happily adopted in the Seattle area. Now it's Violet's turn for happy ever after! Violet likes car rides, and exploring on walks and lives to play and wrestle with the other dogs in her Foster's family. She has no clue how little she is and can often be found jumping on her 60lb sister's head! She is good with the 9 and 6yr old children in the house though can get a little mouthy when playing so is working on her "nice touches". She loves to cuddle and have her belly rubbed and is eager to make someone the perfect companion. Might that person be you? As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters. You are welcome to fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org; please fill this in as fully as you can. It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
